This site is for Maker Faire Participants: Makers, Sponsors, Presenters, and Performers only.

If you are an attendee, or have a Guest or Complimentary ticket, please visit https://makerfaire.com/bay-area/buy-tickets/ page.

The lead contact for each exhibit will receive instructions to redeem all entry passes and tickets and is responsible for distribution of the entry passes as appropriate.

If you haven't received entry pass instructions or do not have your unique access codes, email makers@makerfaire.com or sponsorrelations@makermedia.com.

IMPORTANT:

Everyone must have an entry pass (printed or on mobile device) to access the event site. Your pass will be scanned at the entrance gate. Entry Passes or wristbands are required at all gates during set up. Entry Passes are exchanged for a wristband to allow easy in/out access.

Entry Passes are for Maker Faire Participants setting up or working at the event for at least 6 hours.

Each pass is valid for entry of one participant only and generally for the duration of the event (set up through teardown.)

Passes are not name specific but may be transferred ahead of time if there is a change in the person participating.

While redeeming my codes on eventbrite, how much time do I have?

Your session will time-out after 30min.

Is there a deadline for getting my passes or tickets?

Yes, be sure to redeem your Entry Passes before you arrive at the event. We suggest two days prior.

How do I get my entry passes once I have redeemed my codes online?

You will receive an email from EventBrite with your passes attached.

I tried to redeem my code for an entry pass/ticket, but I am getting the following error message:

Check to make sure you entered the correct access code. Attendee tickets are not valid on this site, please go to the Maker Faire attendee ticketing site.

I tried to redeem my code for a pass/ticket, but I am getting the following error message:

Make sure you only selected the quantity of tickets/passes allowed by the code.

If you are sure you have the right code and it has not been used up, please wait 2 hours and try your code again. It is possible that you recently clicked the back button on your browser or tried to redeem your code in more than one browser at a time. This will cause our system to think the code has been used.

Give the system enough time to reset your code to a usable state, approx 2 hours.

One of the participants has changed. How do I change the Entry Pass to the new name?

The name on the entry pass does not have to match the name of the person using it. If you’ve already sent the e-ticket to your previous helper, ask him/her to forward it to your new assistant. It can be printed many times, but only be used once. You do not need to notify us of the change. If you would like to update the names of your pass holders, click here for instructions.

I did not receive an email confirmation when I ordered my tickets, what should I do?

Check your spam or gray mail folder, in case it was misdirected. If you are unable to find it, email your Maker Faire contact makers@makerfaire.com or sponsorrelations@makermedia.com to have it resent. Please include the project #, name and email address used to order the tickets.

What if it rains?

The show will go on! Bring rain gear.

If you are exhibiting, thank you for all of your hard work in preparing, bringing your project, and sharing your passion with thousands of people over the weekend!

This contract limits the liability of Maker Media, Inc. ("MM") and its affiliates. You acknowledge that Maker Faire exhibits and activities are inherently hazardous, and that risks to you as a Maker Faire attendee include physical injury and property damage. You are solely responsible for supervising/controlling the behavior of the children in your party for their safety. By using this ticket and/or participating in Maker Faire exhibits and/or activities, you assume all risks to you and/or your children of such, including damage, loss, harm, injury and death to your person(s) and all risks resulting from negligent instruction or supervision, and you release MM from all corresponding liability to you and your successors.
